Keith Wadsworth - senior instructor at Warrior and Scholar Kenpo Karate is Keith Wadsworth. Mr. Wadsworth has extensive training in the Art of American Kenpo Karate and Ed Parkers Kenpo System. He brings a keen understanding of Karate and Self-Defense on both a professional and personal level.

 Keith Wadsworth has been a martial arts instructor in Broward County since 1991. He taught at schools in Plantation, Fort Lauderdale, Davie at Nova Southeastern University and currently at Warrior & Scholar Kenpo Karate.

He has been training in the Art of Kenpo since 1988 and holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Ed Parkers American Kenpo. He trains with some of the leading Kenpo practitioners of our day, including Mr. Richard “Huk” Planas (10th Degree), Mr. Lee Wedlake (8th Degree) and Mr. Sean Kelly (6th Degree). He regularly attends seminars, camps and takes private classes to enhance his own training. His belief in the adage that “we are always students” leads to his constant effort to learn, teach and pass on the knowledge of Kenpo. Mr. Wadsworth also brings practical knowledge to the school.

 He is a Hollywood Police Officer and has served the community since 1987. He has worked in many different areas of the department including, patrol, street crimes, narcotics, officer training and is currently a detective in the burglary division. He has received numerous commendations for his work. His ability to understand and explain the criminal element aids him in teaching not only self-defense, but safety awareness as well. He is highly regarded at the Hollywood Police Department by his colleagues and supervisors and has an outstanding reputation.

Mr. Wadsworth is truly an asset to the martial arts. His love for Kenpo can be seen in every class he teaches. He uses patience, understanding and humor as tools to teach his students. He treats each student as an individual and expects each student to reach his or her own potential.
